Vacancy: Speech and Language Therapist, band 6 equivalent
Salary: Dependent on experience
From GLPC Point 26 (£32,988) to Point 31 (£37,353)
plus SEN Allowance (£1,347)
Pro rata to 48 weeks (actual salary £31,606-£35,625)
Hours: 36 hours per week, term time only clinical contact + 3 weeks
Start date: 1st September 2022

The successful applicant will ideally:
- Have clinical experience of a paediatric special needs caseload
- Be a committed, friendly, and enthusiastic team player
- Be a reflective practitioner who is looking to build on their existing clinical skills and develop their specialism in a special needs setting
The Rise Partnership Trust (RPT) currently comprises Manor School and The Avenue School. Manor School is a large primary special school catering for pupils with a wide range of special needs, and will be opening a Key Stage 3 in September 2022. The latest Ofsted report (rated Outstanding in January 2020) highlighted that “All pupils learn life skills and communication in a way that prepares them for future independence”. The Avenue School is a new and expanding all-age special school offering teaching based on the principles of Verbal Behaviour. The Therapy Team works across both schools. We offer regular supervision, CPD opportunities, and a well-established and supportive multi-agency team. The RPT is committed to safeguarding.
